MAKE YOUR OWN MELODEON

This is a hands-on workshop where you will work with others to make your own high quality melodeon. Led by Emmanuel Pariselle, who has already run other very successful workshops in the UK, Canada, Norway, Belgium and France, this one will be based in Yeovil, Somerset.
The course will be run April 2012 –and is limited to 10 people. There’s already an interest from people who have previously made one melodeon with Emmanuel and want to make a second. These are high quality instruments made using Antonelli reeds and Marconi bellows from Italy.
All that’s needed is a passionate interest in playing something you’ve made yourself.

Update....November 2011
The melodeon making for 2012 is now full. There has been an overwhelming response with people now asking about a couse in 2013. At this stage WJM cannot guarantee a course in 2013 but Alan Has opened a list of people interested in making melodeons if a course runs. So, if you're interesetd please send in your details. Fees for the 2012 course were £1,795. This has to be good value since if Emmanuel makes and sells one of these melodeons himself it will cost 2,500 Euros - and just think of the fun you've had making it!
